We were approached by a new company (at the time) in the lighting industry, and were asked to design these new moving head covers.

The design had to be very cost effective and easy to manufacture. The main lower box and the rotating arm were made from a combination of  sheet metal with vacuum forming plastic covers. The covers of the moving head itself were from vacuum formed plastic as well. This product had to compete with other moving heads in the market which had injection molded covers with many more details. We tried to achieve the more complex injection molded look with this much simpler vacuum forming process.
